Sounds like a great place to spend a long weekend. So, you have a guest room available in May?

Yeah, we'll be in Roatan first week in May too.

Watchman .300 Win Mag

I want one. Y'all pitch in for the funds :D

Not on my list of top 10 grips. But they are pretty?

I made my own. Didn't like the cheese graters mine came with.

We have a spot north of Seattle with 300, 750 and 1250 ranges on DNR land. Just shot there again today at clay pigeons. Got one on my third shot with one of my 308s at 750 yards, was pretty satisfying. image-1082559258.jpg image-2807680519.jpg Unfortunately they just installed a gate at the head of the road, which probably means we are SOL and going to have to find somewhere new. Dammit. image-1770649604.jpg And before anyone blames Obama - it's a logging company that's putting in the gate.

Looks like a '72 Ford chassis.

I would never blame dear leader...

But I guarantee I could find a way to blame Bush...

Put the crack pipe down and walk away ...........

It is 54* here this morning, I needed something to warm me up...

The old farm where we live is pretty isolated, and I can shoot pretty much any range out to @300 yards, with good back drops. Friends and I used to do a lot of shooting here back in the 80's, and occasionally my kids come by and we will blow through @1000 rounds of everything from 22 up to 270, 308, 30-06 and then switch to the 12 gauges and go through a few hundred birds.

Quite a few of my neighbors also have similar home built ranges, so the valley is often filled with the sound of occasional burst of gunfire on the weekend.

This last fall my boss invited me up to his gun club, which is the only one left up in Saratoga county where it is legal to fire a rifle. They have a great heated pistol house, with indoor and out door stations, with ranges out to 75yards. They also have a very active group of shooters on their skeet range every weekend.

If the club was not so far from my home I mifght join, just to use the pistol range, it is so well designed
