I guess I am hooked... Now in Arizona

My wife and I just moved back to Arizona from Thailand. You could say Thailand has a nicer ocean than Arizona. We are not hard core divers by ant means, but it is something we love to do together.

I am pretty used to walking to the beach with my gear, maybe I will try the same in reclaimed water. Still looking to hook up with a dive shop in AZ. So far I have not found the same warmth here as I did with the dive community in Thailand… It can only get better and maybe ScubaBoard will help.

They do have some water I heard, but not much. That's why it name means arid zone. :mostlysun Most of it is shipped to Las Vegas and Southern California.

Welcome back to AZ. Sorry you had to come back. Even though it could be better, it could also be worse. There are some lakes to dive in the valley. The closest, most decent (relatively speaking) lake for you is probably Canyon. Diving in Pleasant is a little better. Like has been mentioned already, Sea of Cortez (San Carlos) isn't too far. Neither is San Diego. We dive those places on a regular basis. If you ever want to dive, PM me.
