I'm looking at my GUE Cave 2 card. Has a renew date on there.

Your right... sight unseen, I'd be willing to be that guy has never renewed any of his GUE certs. I'm sure though that if he ever bothered to get a cert card from a recreational agency, it's as valid today as it was on the day it was handed to him.
