Actually the cheap stuff is made from palm kernel oil that's full of saturated goodness and therefore fits right in with "saturated fat is healthy and good for you". It's the ones made from unhealthy refined vegetable oils that we must avoid.
Maybe, but mostly I am lampooning your comparing it with McDonalds. Providing a service which the customer is prepared to pay for? Damn the consequences? Given half this thread was about the lack of fitness and the consequences of a poor diet I did wonder if your McDonalds reference was humorous. Apparently not.
