Just looked at some news on the Cayman Compass and pictures of a dive boat washed up on the beach and a couple under water on LC. If you are heading down to LC soon you may want to check to see about damage to resorts and boats.

Looks like reefdivers lost two boats (I saw southern cross had one that went to shore)

That was my take from the photos and videos

I had a note from SCC saying they’re closed until they get squared away.

We were at LCBR last week; only got in 9 of 17 scheduled dives.
Then the weather starting getting nasty...we feel lucky to have gotten out just in time. The little Twin Otter was a bit bumpy headed back to GCM.

Any more news re extent of damage to LCBR and SCC?

As of 0930 this morning, half of Little Cayman is still without power. The Brac is fully restored powerwise. Lots of trees down, but roads are clear. Brac Reef resort had the end of its pier torn up and some minor damage, but should be up and running this weekend. All in all the Sister Islands fared very well compared to Cuba. And the barge finally made it in so the Brac has fresh fruits, veggies and milk again. Be Safe

Southern Cross reopens 11/23. Dive boat at Grand C. They promised it would be fixed before opening.
