Reports coming in from other boards that Michelle is really doing some damage on GC. The area around Seven Mile Beach seems to be getting the brunt of the storm. A couple of pubs wiped out, and lots of damage to some of the more popular dive facilities.

Reports of up to half of the turtles on Turtle farm either missing or dead.

And it's heading toward the Bahamas.

We were in St. Thomas when they got hit and luckily all that made it there were some cloud cover for a couple of days! I cannot imagine being in a hurricane of that force, we saw some of the damage caused by hurricanes in St. Thomas.

I sure hope the turtles will be found alive!

Does anyone know how Casey is?

I have been reading news updates as well, and it doesn't sound good for the folks on the west side of GC.

My thoughts and prayers.

MOST of the post storm reports from GC sound optimistic. Few, if any, businesses shut down. Some water, sand, and debris damage but it could have been much worse. For detailed reports directly from GC, go to:

If anyone hears from Caymancase please have her post. I'm planning on diving with her next month.
