If it just wasn't for that COLD :cold: water. SOCAL and the rest of you California divers; I would think you'd all own dry suits by now.

I mean, I would love to dive the Channel Islands. The kelp forests sound incredible, but wouldn't even consider it without a dry suit.

Just count me in with Joe and the rest of the candy a****

Nice photos! I really liked the Giant Kelpfish. I have never seen one since I have never dived in kelp--I don't want to hear it!

Could not tell what color lipstick Kath had on, but she looked very fashionable! How do you get a lady to dive in that cold stuff? Well, be patient and if I use a little gentle persuasion, I think we might do Catalina with you guys someday! Barbara loves sharks and if you get some photos of sharks at Catalina, we might just be able to pull it off. If not, I have committed myself to slipping down there alone...

Anyhow, thanks for the report and the photos--oh yes, is Kath going to Maui, too?

Glad you liked the pics Joe.

Yes, Kath is going to Hawaii with me and my 2 sons, daughter and son in law. She is my g/f as well as dive buddy. I have only snorkeled in the warm water, she has done neither.

Anyway, got to go, sandman is calling so goodnight everyone it is time to look at the back of my eyelids. One more day of work this week. TGIF
