HUGE TIP on Booking Cheap Airfare to Bonaire

Hi All! I know you have seen the threads where you can get rates of $298 plus taxes to Bonaire RT. Well I went to their website and kept on getting $1,104 RT newark to Bonaire...YIKES!!!

I than tried the following and it worked:

GO TO Cheap Flights, Airline Tickets, Cheap Airfare & Discount Travel Deals - Kayak.com DO THE SEARCH. IT GIVES YOU THE $355 PRICE (INCLUDES TAXES). WHEN IT REDIRECTS YOU TO THE CONTINENTAL WEBSITE THE SAME PRICE SHOWS UP.

WHO KNOWS MAYBE YOU HAVE TO GO TO KAYAK THEN BEDIRECTED TO CO'S WEBSITE IN ORDER TO GET THE GREAT RATE...

Liz, what dates are you looking at. I will be traveling with Herman and I cannot find anything for less than 700 in mid July

Ok, I found airfare at $651.00 including taxes RT from RDU, but please wait!!! Let me tell you what we are finding within the industry. There is a HUGE rise in "last minute" bookings. Stats are show that 60% of people are booking with in 30 days and 85% are booking within 60 days. Honestly I think the airfare is also working that way. I think you will find better fares closer to July, maybe in March or April timeframe.

We are finding the LOW airfares of under $600 from RDU for March timeframe right now, that is the pattern we are seeing.

i see.........well........unfortunately, i can't be kinda 'last minute'..........maybe someday. for this trip, we had various timing issues that had to be worked around, plus we're staying at the Deep Blue View, which only has 5 guest rooms, so you can't wait......it'll be booked up. going July 3, returning July 11........so we paid the $699 apiece plus the taxes for ours, but i do like knowing that we are booked!
