The oxyhacker standard for decades are these. Other MM, FF, and MF combinations available. 1/4" size in brass are good to 5000+psi and take a 111 Oring. The supplied Buna orings are fine for most applications but you do want to wash the whole thing.

Don't boost o2 over 3K...

So I ordered these,

and pulled out the O-ring and it's a 110, are you saying a 111 will FIT or should it be a 110 viton? I've got all the fittings in the ultrasonic right now.

Just showing the size difference of the green/black and the black is not a 111.

Unless I got the wrong fitting or something changed a 111 won't work. I managed to get it in the coupler but then there is not enough room for the male fitting to seat all the way and close. The black o-ring is what I pulled out and the Green one is a 111.

How hard are they? The included ones are like 60 duro Buna. So if you get a 70 duro viton its a force fit.

So, any reason to think that the stuff available in the Pressure washer section of the local home center would not be suitable here? Seems to be the same connectors...

They don't specifically list a pressure rating, only that they're compatible with "pressure washers rated at 4500 pis or lower" which reads to me like they're probably 5000psi rated. Might not be the best priced or most options for configuration, but they seem to be in-stock if I ever need one Today.... (After a suitable trip thru the ultrasonic cleaner of course...)

Parker. Use the brass ones. The SS ones gall eventually.

The brass one's are good to 5,000 psi BUT if you run them that high the bearings which lock the female to the male nipple will create indentations in the male side and its a huge pain to connect/disconnect them.

My solution is to use stainless plugs with brass sockets. Solves the high-pressure denting problem. If you are going with pure O2 and want to stay brass for compatibility, I don’t usually find the denting problem too difficult to deal with. The biggest problem I have is I sometimes have to rotate the connection until the bearings fall into the dimples to get a solid seal. I don’t ever recall having a problem separating them. Just getting them to seal initially on occasion.

Good call, the Viton's I was trying were SH90's, I just stuck a 111 SH70 in there and yes it was a 'force' fit but it was able to lock in place. I'm going to try both the stock 110 and the 111, if I don't get a leak from the 110's I'll probably stick w/ those as the 111's are really hard to get on/off and these will just be pressurized while I'm boosting, not long term.

Thanks

Sorry it took a bit, this what the end view of the female end looks like. I don't see an o'ring. I know that as I pressurize the fitting, and I wiggle it just right I can get it to seal.
