I hope that all is well with everyone that gets to read this. I have been diving since I was a little more than knee high to a cricket. (13) I have done several dives in the waters of Texas and within the last 6 years gotten to leave the USA and dive Europe. I dove the Mediterranean off the coast of Spain and France. Then in the fall of 00 I go the wonderful oppurtunity to dive the Red Sea outside Safaga and Hurghada. If you ever get a chance this was AMAZING! The place that we stayed was fantastic and the diving was out of this world. On my last dive I got the pleasure of coming face to face with a "baby" Naploean fish. I would say it was about 80 lbs and 4 plus feet long. It was eating off the reefs at about 150 ft. AMAZING!

Well I am not in the planning stages of a trip to Australia next year. If anyone has any input or knows of "places" please let me know. Looking at three weeks around Australia with 3-5 days of diving. :salute:

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from people,

Spudusaf

Welcome!! Any question you have, you can probably find a post about it in the archives, or just ask away and someone will steer you to an answer. My girlfriend started diving with a Discover Scuba experience in the Red Sea. I'll dive it someday :D
