Who did you dive with in forster?? ... have dived quite a few times up there with Ronny Rotten (Hunter). Best Dive ever on the pinnacle ... tied up and looked over the side and could just about see the bottom ... there were heaps of sharks too ... when we got down there looked up and you could see the boat ... and there were heaps of sharks too. So guess what we did for the second dive ... nope not latitude rock or spot a.

Never have got down to seal rocks but would love to do Edith Breaker some day.

Yes we are lucky to live here .. some times we need to be reminded of this ... thanks

We dove with Ron Hunter (Dive Forster). Only Ron didn't actually dive that weekend -- he was in the shop. Dave (the skipper) dove both days as did their DM Neil. And you can't forget Dave's dog Spinner.

The viz wasn't that good the first day -- you definitely couldn't see the bottom from the boat or vice versa. The Pinnacle & Latitude Rock were good on Saturday, but we had out spectacular day on Sunday a Seal Rocks.

I'm planning to be in Oz - based in Sydney and having a long weekend near Salamander Bay next March for 10 days.

Any tips on the BEST places to dive ?? in the area - or wider afield if necessary

A friend of mine is an OZ dive instructor who I will be diving with near Salamander bay (Nelson Bay) over the long weekend, but I don't want to miss anything, if I can help it as it's such a LONG way...
