How to wear a PONY? And not look like a DORK!

I dive a 19 cf pony attached to the side of my tank. Yes, I can tell it is not balanced but I have done it that way for so long that I have gotten use to it. I am typically spearfishing and having it behind me works well. I don't travel with it. Everyone has opinions here so here is mine.
1. Don't worry about how you look if you are safe.
2. Maybe think about a larger pony bottle. There is no penalty for having gas when you get back to the surface. My 2 cents.
