How to carry your SMB?

Folded it instead of rolled it and it fits in the pocket nicely pre-attached to a finger spool :) I might try and mount it on the bottom of the backplate with bungee in the future but this works for now.

what kind of pocket did you end up using?
 
How it is folded is a concern as well. If you are going to fold a SMB or bag, it needs to be folded like an "accordion". Such that when it is pulled from a pocket or from behind the back (in backplate), as it comes out, it is already "unraveled" and can be quickly inflated and deployed.
 
I use a sleeve I got from scuba.com. It holds the SMB rolled up in an elastic piece of fabric and has a loop to clip a finger reel onto. I have it attached over my butt and slightly to the side where it doesn't interfere with the pony bottle a sling.
