How strong is a 1 knot current for diving in?

1 knot is approximately 1.15mph so shouldn't cause you too many problems however there are some techniques that are important to know especially if the current picks up. Buoyancy is crucial for all types of diving but especially important while drift diving although looking at the number of your dives I expect that shouldn't be an issue. In 2 to 3 knot current turning around is usually the only way to see the dive site and allow you to stop if you see anything up close. After 4 knots you pretty much just have to go with it although its fantastic fun and as close as you ever like to get to flying.
