Have the Bauer Capitano head, and an Aim 247 filter.

Guy I bought the compressor from said change both around 20 hours.

Reading about the board, seems to imply the filter can go 4 or 5 times that.

Still havent found a oil service interval yet.

Any help appreciated, thx!

Since it is fairly cool up here, I would think that 90-100 hours for the oil would be right. I know a lot of people tout 1000 hours or more, but an oil change is a fairly cheap insurance policy. As for the filter, it is supposed to be rated for 13000 cubic feet max so give it a check at 8 or 900 to see how it is going. Or, you could put a moisture eye on the outlet of the filter and change it as soon as the eye indicates any humidity.

thx Ray, and yea, oil is a cheap insurance policy.

How do I get the filter out of this tower? I thought it was just remove the 2 bolts at the top, but nothing comes loose.

Those two bolts just hold the rain cap on and provide a leverage point. Put them back in and lay the handle of your wrench or a long screw driver between them and turn. tower.jpg
