We could sure use some rain down here. The water level at the lake is down more than 20 feet. They even had to move the platform so that students can practice skills in more that 18 inches of water.

It is really disorienting. None of the familiar landmarks are at the right depth.

Can y'all bottle some of that and send it our way?

Now that's bad. When we lived in Chicago we had lots of basement flooding. No fun...we managed to not get flooded when we had all our rain recently - but it came close several times.

Hoping the best for all that are in harms way!!

Pete.
I Just checked a Boothbay 10 day forecast. The forecast I just brought up shows a 30 per cent chance of showers for Sat. We can keep our fingers crossed....hard to do while organizing the sock drawer. Suppose they would save it for a later date if the weather crapped out for us? FWIW The saco river is the highest I've seen it in years.

Any interst in Kennebunk Pond Wednesday night?

Warm and chance of showers, about as good as it gets for a while. Visibility won't be primo but it's better than nothing. Seas are high and brown for a while.

I think I saw one of my dive buddies on NECN. Kayaking the streets of York Beach Maine. Best thoughts to those effected.

I saw that too, that look pretty bad, i think i should not complaint at all, i'm very lucky my house is not damage, some of the people who work with me are not having a good time, lots of problems with the basements, many of them in Revere, MA

A few hours ago...north of boston. Route 1 was flooded, I was trying to get off the hwy and go up a side street. Didnt even notice the parking lot was like a lake and drove right into it.....

Wow.... that's not good. Hope your car comes through it okay.

And more importantly I hope you got your dive gear out of the car safely! :D

I had a similar thing happen to my car years ago... fortunately the only thing wrong with it was a wet air filter. No air, no combustion, no go.

Here's hoping your problem is as easy to remedy.
