I've been committed to Olympus/OM Systems for well over a decade. In the past few months, I became somewhat disillusioned with the OM-1's focusing, especially in water with particulates and, above water, in rain or snow. I went deep into the full-frame rabbit hole, pretty much narrowed to the A7RV or the R5ii, and was girding my loins for a difficult conversation with the CFO. Tariffs appear to be sparing me the trouble. I know that the OM-1ii has better focusing capability than the OM-1, but how much? Does anyone have experience with both on which they'd care to comment?
Also, does anyone's experience suggest that the Mark ii is actually not 100% simpatico with the Nauticam OM-1 housing?
Thanks much,
