Voted no, but hopefully I mean not yet.

I'm a diver, and I'm back living in the UK, but haven't ventured to do any diving here yet. I keep meaning to start, and then decide to go off somewhere warm and dive instead.... ok, so I'm a wimp.

I had no idea that there were so many UK divers on this board!

I too am one of those whimps who have done the warm stuff and keep going back despite threatening to jump in the cool dark Uk waters. Especially recently with all this warm sunny weather, I could even pretend I was in a different country.

I am about to buy my first dry suit tho, so UK diving is just around the corner. So long as I can get the thing to stay dry! I did my orientation in the pool the other day, what a lot of effort to end up as wet as if I hadn't bothered with the suit at al! But that is another story.

Hi to all you Uk divers, I hope to be joining you in the quest for life in a quarry near you soon:D

I've just discovered this little corner!

I'm Irish but living and diving in Wales  Relative newbie still AOW with just over 20 dives, planning on doing my rescue course in October once my diving improves.

....... from Hull in sunny Yorkshire. Recognise some of the posters on this forum.

I dive around the UK year round but enjoy the occasional visit abroad.

British diving has got to be the best.

Best regards and dive safely.

..newish here. Live in London (lucky me!) Dive in Poole area mainly. Just returned from the Farnes (now suffering from a mild ear infection!) Have dived many tropical places too. Off to Grenada at the end of this month. Yipee!

Havn't dived yet, but doing my open water course in September.

Live near Cambridge. Originally from the Fens where dyke jumping is a local passtime??!!

I dive a few times a week here in Jersey.

No wrecks yet, all shore dives.

BTW what's a "fish prodder"?

HI folks,

SW Birmingham - mainly confined to muddy puddles as odd work hours make it hard to get to the coast ;-0

But getting married in St Lucia in 2 months (in between dives!)
