I am sure there will be a sharp divergence between technical divers and the rest, but I thought it might be fun to have a quick straw poll as to how long various SB members have remained submerged.

(No commercial saturation dives please!)

About 2 hours for me on a 30 ft dive.

Might also be interesting if people mentioned the tankage they used (i.e. doubles, four ponies, rebreather, etc.)

120 minutes is common for me but the longest has been 167 minutes.

Recreational single tank dives average 1-1.5 hours.

OC technical dives average 1.5-2 hours. Longest is 4 hours.

CCR dives average 2.5-3 hours. Longest is 4+ hours.

My longest three were training dives in about 30 feet of water for 145 minutes, 109 and 108 minutes, respectively.

Longest fun dive was 104 minutes.

38 days, max time in water on a single lockout around 12 hours excluding time to pop head in the trunk of the bell to stuff down a sandwich. Around 6 hours on Scuba, decompressing on an O2 Hose most of that time.

Someone didn't read the OP carefully...

My dives have been pretty close to yours, the longest has been 3 hours on OC.

But now that I have the RB I'm NEVER coming out of the cave :rofl3:

The pole asks How long was your longest dive? Hatch closed to hatch open is one sat dive.

I could not see the "(No commercial saturation dives please!)" comment on my monitor until I tried quoting it. It is almost the same light blue. The 6 hour dive was not commercial since I was not being paid, unless a porthole counts.
