How is I 40?

Back in May when I was driving across country from California to Ky I was driving on I40 when the barge hit the bridge span in western Arkansas/eastern Oklahoma. If memory serves me correctly I believe they stated the bridge would be closed for about 6 months for repairs.

I am getting ready to drive back out west to do some diving and am curious if anyone knows if the bridge has been reopened yet. I believe the bridge was actually in Okla. but real close to Ft Smith.

Any ideas?

The bridge is fixed. I believe it's been fixed for about a month or so now. They had a big ceremony here. The governor went down there and cut the ribbon and people are driving on it. They are supposed to build a big memorial at webber's falls for the people who died there.
Yep, the road is ok, so come on down!

Divas Right, been fixed a month. Drove over it twice over the past weekend.

Wow, I'm still laughing about this one! I thought reading your subject "How is I 40" that someone with really bad grammer was asking how he/she got to be 40 years old!

I never even gave that any thought when I started the thread. After your viewpoint I also saw how it could be misconstrued and started laughing.

I may have to stop posting. I obviously have a hard time with being grammatically correct and expressing myself properly.
