1:05 north to the quarry and 1:45 south to the Jersey shore.

For me, most dives (Lake Michigan, Redgranit Quarry, Devil's Lake) are from an hour to an hour an a half. Lake Wazee is 2 1/2 hrs. though. Nothing closer, darn it.

Local fresh water(45') 10 Minutes
Ocean sites over a dozen sites are between :20 - :60 minutes.
Deep freshwater with shore access 75 minutes
Quarry (limited access) :25
Air :45 but also near my commute to work route.

About 15 minutes to a "Quick Dive" in freshwater. A minimum of 1 hour 15 mins to Salt water.

About 110 mile each way to the boats which with the roads works out about 2 1/4 hours each way. Sometimes spend the best part of 5hrs in the car for 1 x 20 minute drive on a bad day.

In fact, its -6c outside and im off to do that drive in 3.5 hours time. Guess id better get some sleep :)

lets see, last dive was over 400 miles away!

Normally though, I drive about 200 miles to get to a decent dive site.

of course, this is DRIVE time. doesnt time to launch the boat or drive it to a dive site on the lake.

Scubakevdm:
I walk about 125 feet from my front door to my boat, then drive it an additional 1.7 miles to the reef.

You suck scubakevdm! ;)
