I burp mine the easy way. Gear up and jump in. The water forces the air out. Now if you are wearing a hood you will hear a wind storm for a few seconds.
The first time I burped it with a hood I laughed so hard that I about spit out my reg and this in turn flooded my mask. Scared the hell out of my DB when I surfaced.
My Mares suit slides right on, wet or dry. I don't think I would want to wear a skin unless I was that cold.
