How do you manage your non-diving spouse / significant other?

I just wondered at the wording of "how do you manage your ... spouse" and "I have been married for over a year now".

Now, heaven knows I'm not exactly an expert in this area but I don't think that's how it's supposed to work...

Generally speaking, wedding rings and pacifiers will fuxor your trim faster than anything.

To keep everyone happy, whenever we vacation (one diver and one non-diver) we simply plan separate activities so the diver gets to dive, and the non-diver isn't sitting around bored. Another option is a cruise which offers both diving and non-diving activities, such as snorkeling, kayaking, shore excursions.
