river_sand_bar:Ok... just to throw a wrinkle into this whole PADI bashing party we are having here... as was in one of the other threads, there was a poll of how many people continue diving after getting their OW... it was agreed apon by most that the percentage was low. So therefore, should PADI be held to a higher standard for teaching and certifing OW if in fact, the people are going to never or seldom dive again??
Can only see that by comparing their rate for more courses with the rate for other agencies.
I suspect the % is roughly the same regardless of agency.
