I for one am all for PADI bashing!
It take the attention away from newbie bashing, and gives us newbies an excuse for our actions. "PADI taught me!"

It is so nice to have someone to blame for us diving out of our skill level, or searching and searching untill will find an instractor who will certify us in the shortest time so we can go on our vacation dive. It is all PADI's fault, so I say, bring on the bashing!

Whoa there... I was just pointing out the problem, not pointing a finger at the instructor. On the contrary, it's impossible to blame the instructor for things their students forget because they dive only on vacation.
