Can someone give me the directions to posting a Spoiler?

In the text of your message at the point where you'd like the Spoiler to appear, type the following WITHOUT the spaces in the word Spoiler (because otherwise my instruction would be covered by a Spoiler).

Message, blah, blah, blah

[S p o i l e r]This is the stuff I want to hide behind a Spoiler [/Spoiler]

Then more text can appear after. If you leave off the second [/Spoiler] the software will hide everything that follows under the blue flag.

Here are two examples:

Simple spoiler

Here is what I typed in -- well, copied and pasted really:

[SPOILER]Simple spoiler[/SPOILER]
[SPOILER=Spoiler Title]Spoiler with a title[/SPOILER]

I used the "PLAIN" function to display the example above without showing spoiler buttons.

Edit: @rsingler's post above is a good example of simultaneous replies that can happen on Internet forums.
