definitely, but I view that as just part of a process, and one of the smaller pieces -- although it is an exceptionally shiny mirror...

but it's the part that comes *before* mandatory deco dives, right?

Doubles is overkill for a lot of the diving I do, much of which could be done with a single 130 and a stage. But some women can't walk up a ladder with doubles. Where does that leave them?

I would be extremely reluctant to do any mandatory deco diving on a single tank.
I think you dive with redundant first stages at least, so that's definitely a good thing, but still...

What? The he-man idiot routine? Good way to get bent Been there..done it...got the pizza stained t-shirt. But there are better ways. A gear line is one and is easy to do.

agreed. Never go up a ladder with stages/deco bottles attached. You are asking for a hit.

Did you not do decompression diving for either your deco procedures or your ext range course?

and did you not use a deco bottle? or did you deco out on your backgas?
