trucker girl:I'm just telling you the PADI guideline for OW cert... .
JeffG:But...If if people can't walk up a ladder with double Al80's, then they shouldn't be tech diving.
Golfing.TheRedHead:Where does that leave them?
TheRedHead:You can take Deco Procedures in a single tank with 1 bottle. I just finished Technical Diver and it was tough. Maybe I should go back to TDI.![]()
Better than nice. Its smart.Gilless:And it is nice to hand your stages up to somone before climbing out.
trucker girl:Technically, if you're OW cert through PADI then 60 ft is your "I'll die" limit...
JeffG:Better than nice. Its smart.
trucker girl:I was under the impression- from posts elsewhere- that lamont was a tech diver of some sort. Must have been mistaken... what exactly ARE you lamont? You seem to know an awful lot of stuff... are you military? Me, I'm just a truck driver...![]()
What? The he-man idiot routine? Good way to get bent Been there..done it...got the pizza stained t-shirt. But there are better ways. A gear line is one and is easy to do.TheRedHead:What about the "boat is pitching and you've got to get up the ladder in all your gear (including stages)" argument, which I've heard many times? You guys have a real advantage because just about any joe-schmoe can get up a ladder in doubles without much effort.
