A good friend slipped me this PM..

Elizabeth's restaurant is Croccantino @ kaya Grande 48.
That's the one. We will definatly go there. I wonder if she will remember me.
Anyway, it's looking like
Fishes
Croccantino
And either Richards or Casablanca

As for the pizza.. I like the thin, crisp, brick oven Rum's had. Tell me more about D&G's please.

Sj:
'And like you, I know pizza, born in the Windy City - actually Berwyn - I'd kill for Gino's East to open out here. We have the chain Uno's here but it's awful.'

Yes, I lived about 45 minutes from Berwyn most of my life.
I do like Gino's, but believe it or not, I love the coal burning pizza you can get in NY.
There is one is Scottsdale AZ. that I ate at in February of this year and it was excellent.

It's not, it's more the thicker, red sauce style. I'd go to RR if that's what you're looking for. The views's much better also, at D&G all you see is cars driving by. If you sit at one of the outer tables, reallly close by...

Natasha,

He could accommodate 32 I think. His menu is different each time (as it is based on what is available fresh that day). His basics are Goat Stew, Chicken Stew, Beef Stew, Green Bean Stew (It has green beans along with salted pork, beef, and goat). fresh fish, grilled or fried, fried chicken legs (thigh and leg together). We can request him to make a soup (either kaduishi (cactus) or black bean. His wife makes a mean flan! I would think for a group your size, it might actually be better to do a buffet style, so everyone could try. We do those for him at our place because it is big and open and we have a large BBQ area.

Let me know the date you would be interested and if there is anything you want to try that I've not mentioned. I can get you all the details. For a buffet style it would be $20.00 US per person. Drinks could be bought separately, usually available is Amstel, Polar, Wine, Soft drinks.

Let me know as soon as you can as you all arrive soon.

HI Liz:
I have decided against this after doing some more research. But, thank you for all of your trouble.

We will be doing take out. It's for the last night on Bonaire and we will be having a beer and pizza party with the dive shop at the dive shop..so the view will be of the docked dive boats we used all week. :)

In that case, a better option might be Pasa Bon. They do takeout. It's rated best by the BonaireTalkers. Get extra pineapple for the dive dock iguanas.

Maybe you'll see the green flash over the deck of the "Green Flash" :)

Seen this?
