Hotel Plaza Cozumel

Has anyone stayed here yet? Any feedback?

My wife and I have stayed there twice and are going back in June with Scubaboards Cozumel Invasion.

Great price , good location , great house dive op , friendly staff , good food , clean and comfortable.

Actually, the Invasion is at Hotel Cozumel & Resort on the southern end of town while Hotel Plaza Cozumel is a different place closer to the center of town. I've not stayed at Hotel Plaza Cozumel so I can't help the OP.

Yes, the Hotel Plaza Cozumel is just north of the square, about 1/2 block in.

When I was in Coz january stayed on 30th and walked by the hotel every day.We checked out a room one day and place looked clean and decent.I have stayed at both Bahia and Colonial suites and think they are nicer and a couple of dollars less per night also get a great breakfast buffet included at casa Mexicana.

Well, we booked for March 3-10 at the Plaza Hotel Cozumel, diving with Blue Magic Scuba again. Will let you know how the hotel is.

We got evac'd to there during hurricane Wilma. Don't think my recollection would count. We did break through a concrete wall in the dungeon part of it to get to a john. On the flip side, they would have had to make everything new afterwards

Oh, and the pool on the roof was a great communal bath tub afterwards! Only bummer was the bar up there had no alcohol
