I would not worry about it for any form of recreational diving. In tech diving it is suggested that you dont take a hot bath/shower. Its also suggested not to exert your self post diving. I am a firm believer that if you decompress cleanly and listen to you body that these thing should not have an impact.
My local cave site requires a steep ladder climb out of the water, around 5m (16ft) high @ 80 degree incline with all your equipment easily weighing in at 100-150lb!!! Then another walk up stairs to the changing station. What was that again about post dive exertion?? I also shower in hot water 2 hours after every deco dive without incident.
The point I want to make is that if a shower encourages the bends in a diver, he/she was already in trouble before the shower, the same applies to post dive exertion. Listen to your body during and after the dive. You should feel refreshed and full of energy after a dive, anthing else and you are doing thing wrong and should be an indicator that all is not well.
