Here's one for yah:

Anyone ever heard of this one: 2% hydrogen in your breathing mix and a platinum wool catalyst in the intermediate pressure hose yields 130 degree moist air at the second sage.

Interesting idea - I assume its just:

2H2 + O2 --(pt)--> 2H2O

I expect water condensing in the intermediate pressure hose could be an issue as well as breathing resistance.

Would a Pt catalyst affect any other gases in the mix - and what would happen with high O2 mixes?

It's overkill for the slight discomfort of breathing dry air - but interesting none the less.

Cheers,
Rohan.

i see a great danger here that you fellers have obviously overlooked

ok... you are inflating a bag at 50 feet

(see the problem?)

now... you fill this bag with HOT air ... what does HOT air do? it rises...
so the bag hits the surface, and it starts to rise

taking you with it

there goes your deco stop

chamber here you come

Andy, calm down, the density of air at 130 degrees is only reduced by about 13%, not enough to effect your buoyancy.

what if it's a particularly undense batch of air you started with?

you need to think these things through!

Andy, its getting late. You need to go to bed.

alright... i tried to tell you ... don't come crying to me

"Undense" is not a cromulent word!
