I'm just finishing up my O2 whip, and was going to get a local hydraulic shop to make a hose for me using braided teflon lined hose with brass NPT's on the ends. Any percieved issues with this? Any other suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks,
Jim

It may not be an issue with SS hoses. But for my rubber hoses, the hydraulic shop dipped the ends of the hoses into oil before putting on the fittings. It took a lot of elbow grease to get them cleaned.

Thanks for reminding me, I had thought about making sure they get crimped dry, but forgot to mention that. This place says they do certified O2 hoses, that get sent out for a certification number, and cost twice as much as one without a number, so I they should be able to do a good job with it.
