Ok how much are the OS systems's rings,

And does anyone have pictures of the homemade PVC rings, since the pics in the old threads are expired?

Looks like $58.00 for the system and the gloves we use are $6.00 a pair. Not worth trying to make your own.

Unless I am reading the OS website wrong, the system is a minimum of $106. For that price it might be worth a shot to try to make your own.

It is. I made the ones linked to above and they worked quite well. I switched to viking bayonet system because I couldn't find any of the rubber gloves (didn't know about the harborfreight ones) that didn't leave about an inch of extra material at the tops of my sausage-like fingers :)

But, I keep them around in case I need them in a pinch. They did keep the hands nice and warm.
