This was a very low budget movie.
Many (Most?) out door scenes photographed at that time on the deserted beaches of Catalina Island, California
Many of the uncredited actors in the movie were LA County Underwater Instructors who also acted as technical advisors. It was some time ago therefore I suspect most are no longer with us
One who immediately comes to mind was Morgan Clint Degn who was or had been the Senior Aquatics advisor to the Underwater Unit.
Clint Degn left LA CO UW Unit and established one of the US's first shop devoted to UW photography "Photo-Marine International " which was too early in the market place to support such a shop.-- It only lasted a short time
While there he and his partner Col. John D Craig ( the same person who authored the 1930s best seller diving book "Danger is my business" ) Authored another book introduction to "Skin and SCUBA diving"
His final involvement was producing UW movies for the "Arm Chair Adventure " circuit - He lectured to schools, colleges and universities on his many UW adventures - with the widespread advent of TV adventure programs the "Arm Chair Adventure" program faded away into history.
Clint Degn was indeed a pioneer in the sport
Lots of memories ! Keep up the great work --it is appreciated !
