Fortunately, we now have only two CCR units owned/ operated by larger corporations. We finally have the rEvo III from Belgium acquired by Mares and Head Sport GmbH, the parent of Mares, SSI training, other brands. And we finally have Hollis PRISM 2, Made in USA, acquired by Huish Outdoors, a family business parent of Atomic Aquatics, Suunto, Zeagle, Oceanic+ app, others with potential for sustainable governance.

For those who are searching for a CE model from a larger institution, your only choice available in the market so far is the rEvo iii, operated by one of top 3 largest scuba gear companies in the world.

You might also want to consider Prsim 2 for a medium size institution with some potential to have stable operation.

In case you are a teenager who want to start an instructor career in training or whatever the reason is.

Shouldn't we be starting with Dräger if the criteria is a larger company and CE or am I being too pedantic
Yes, please. If you know any Dräger CE model let's share it.

Then if Dräger is acceptable to the forum list then maybe if we could add the Secondary Life Support SLS system.
Admittedly when it was first developed it was designed and built by a different engineering company but non the less a rebreather with CE and probably still the most profitable CE certified rebreather on the market still today. Replaced in 2019 Both Dräger and the SLS were built and supplied years before Mares and Oceanic and even before CE was a recognised standard.

Photos below of the first prototype Mk 1 to the second development project to the final Mark 5 version
And British like the PRISM.

With Dräger your "with" CE requirement does limit the range available we could discuss as they were and still are predominately military items but I did coin the heading LAR V also available in white when they launched the sports diving range the Dräger Atlantis and the Dräger Dolphin. At the time they were very very upset. But my "Who won the war comment" also didn't help.

I think everyone here is welcome to share any valuable input that can benefit the OP or others.
In the context of this thread, the OP is asking specificly about Prism 2 which is a CCR CE model available in the market for them and oprated by a larger more stable institution.

Another similar unit for the OP and for everyone to consider is the rEvo III. It is another real CCR CE model available in the market for them and oprated by even larger institution.

You nailed it in your earlier post. Prism 2 or the rEvo 3 that's about it.

Yes, if they want only from the larger business. These are the only two units I am aware of so far. But i am searching for more options to help a family student who want to start instructor career in CCR training and doesn't want to consider any units rely on the mood and life conditions of single engineer or entrepreneur.

Please share if you are aware of any other CE models available from any other decent and stable institution.

Your family friend needs to think about a business strategy. Going with an established unit may not be the best option if the target market is saturated. But it sounds like you know what's up, so I'll shut up.

The SF2 is CE and is made by a decent, stable institution.
