What would be OMS's response to this?
OMS Rep: "Is this a trick question?"

You: "No, there is a hole in my wing.."

OMS Rep: "Ok, a few questions then..."

You: "Ok.."

OMS Rep: "How did you survive the dive when the wing punctured?"

You: "My wing doesn't have bungies..."

OMS Rep: "Are you sure you have one of our wings?"

You (agitated): "Yes..."

OMS Rep: "And you are sure you are alive, right?"

LOL!!!

Maybe $50 is to cover customer service (fast action and free shipping in my case) and the $50 is for the superior product.

It couldn't be becuase their wings are like $100 + more than OMS', could it be?

...Halcyon and Beuchat have the best customer service...

Huh... Beuchat?
Glad, they do. Just seemed a bit weird to see its name right next to Halcyon... ;)

Yeah. Remember this post the next time someone calls me a DIR Zealot.:)

I bought a Beuchat VX10 Evolution before I even finished my certification dives.

Shortly thereafter, I had a major argument with the LDS over the quality and substance of the instruction provided to my wife.

There are no other Beuchat dealers in my area.

I wanted to install the anti-freeze kit on the reg because I dive all year and it gets cold. So I called Beuchat in Florida and told them my problem. They offered to install the kit in one day and return it to me via over night courier. All I needed to do was overnight it to them. In other words, they paid for the return shipping.

I also love the reg. I still use it on my singles. It breathes as well as my ATX200's. My only complaint is that it would not be as easy to repair underwater as the Apeks.

Wow, thats pretty impressive on the Beauchat reg.

I haven't had to use OMS' customer service yet. Is it lacking?

Hey Ben,

Just out of curiousity, how did you discover the hole? Was it you or a dive buddy that spotted it?
