Holbox post hurricane??

I am planning a trip to Holbox in July to see the whale sharks. Anyone know how the area made out after the hurricane?

Also, any recommendations for places to stay?

Although does anyone have any knowledge of the area post hurricane? I am looking for an unbiased opinion.
