I’m in the process of rebuilding a hog zenith second size. The diagram appears to have a 2mmx1mm oring in this position. I have a ton of 2.2mmx1mm orings for scubapro.

1. Can anybody verify if this is the correct size?
2. Can I get away with using a 2.2mmx1mm oring
If no then...
3. Does anybody want to do an oring exchange with me for some 2.2mmx1mm orings?

thanks!
Hi, I bought 1 genuine HOG 2nd stage kit so I could measure the o-rings & LP seat. I measured the poppet o-rings to be CS 0.8mm & the OD 4.2mm, so ID is 2.6mm. I took a mcaro photo of it too, blew up the image & did a measurement which also confirmed these figures; which are not necessarily exact but are very close; the o-ring could even be a standard imperial (in inches) o-ring. Now I am trying to find off-the-shelf origins that match - but nothing in standard o-ring charts or websites seems to suit. How did you go with finding poppet o-rings for HOGs? I also have to allow for the possibility that my cheap digital calipers could be slightly out, but I think they are quite good & close.

You are correct. However I have it on good authority that if you send your reg in for servicing it’s coming back with two 006 duro 90 polyurethane rings in that position.
It seems impossible that Deep6 would use 006 on the poppet; as a 006 O-ring has (ID) 2.9 mm & (CS) 1.78 mm.

I am not sure where this came from, but a 006 will not fit in the second stage.....
