Mmmm is this good news?

Mmmm is this good news?
Especially given the quote:
They guarantee an important number of notorious names for the island.
Although I'm sure something was lost in translation...lol

144 rooms doesn't seem like that big a deal and I'm all for anything that gets more direct flights to go there.

Here's hoping we don't also get Paris Hilton..... I think she fits the word notorious.

It is if you have 875,950 points in your "Hilton Honors" account...

:eyebrow:

That's enough for about 6 free weeks at a Hilton resort, too bad I need to wait until 2010 to start using them in Bonaire!

I know things must change. First the big cruise ships and now the big chain hotels/resorts. I just hope the island doesn't change to drastically.

Better a Hilton than the big cruise lines...oh, wait, now they've got both.

Personally, I'd rather not see the big chains. No fast food. No Starbuck's (although I am so addicted to the expresso frappucino!) It would be such a crime if Bonaire turned into the next Cozumel.

I agree on the big chains. As far as fast food the only fast food you need on that island is Last Bite Bakery's ten guilder lunch. Man that was good.
