The world's largest amphibian is the giant salamander

Catfish are the only animals that naturally have an odd number of whiskers.

really is that true ??

Snakes are true carnivorous because they eat nothing but other animals

The last animal in the dictionary is the Zyzzyva, a tropical weevil.

TTFN.

Looks like eight whiskers to me... (I got curious and looked it up ;))

From wikipedia "Catfish may have up to four pairs of barbels: nasal, maxillary (on each side of mouth), and two pairs of chin barbels, although pairs of barbels may be absent, depending on the species."

I guess if pairs are absent then they might have an odd number...

I saw that Wikipedia entry too...I reckon it might be one of those "myths" that get around.
