well... that was the general idea... turtles for AW, sharks for everyone, morays for me and even a Nemo!
:sharkattack:

Yes I saw a Nemo too! One of them bit Margaret actually. Also don't forget pineapple fish, they were SO COOL!

well not crystal... lots of backscatter for those of us without strobes:doh2:

Yes 10-15m on most dives so pretty good but not crystal :rofl3: I kept forgetting to turn off my flash for long distance shots :(

Actually we did have a fair current to fight in a couple dives. Fish, Almity1 and I managed to fight the current back to the boat. Sas, Aardvark, Tassie and Margaret were smart:shocked2:.... inflated SMB's stuck together and let the current have it's way with them until the boat crew came to pick them up.... much more fun:eyebrow:.... they seemed to be having a great time chatting when we arrived... *note to self sometimes it is smarter to let the boat come to you:doh2:*

Well I was not so smart. I actually made it to within 5m of the mooring by getting down low and pulling myself along the rocks so didn't save myself any energy like the others. However, I was not paying enough attention to my buddy who was struggling with it :( and I lost her for a little bit. I quickly spotted her again with the DM who pulled her all the way to the next mooring line (was not far from the boat actually) and we went up that one but then just let the current take us as we saw Tassie + Aardvark drifting. It was nice to have the boat come get us :D Though I have to say, I can't believe how easy it is doing anchored diving. I think I was the only one hanging off the line most dives, everyone else was holding their stops midwater nearby but I figured I'd make the most of the mooring whilst I had the chance :rofl3:

Well Tassie dived in a drysuit:coolingoff: fish and i were warm in our sharkskins and our suits were stinkin by the time we got home for a proper cleaning:rofl3:

Haha I wish I had a drysuit for the last day. After the third dive I was freezing! Water did not get above 23C average for the dive (for my dives at least) though at times it was 26C near the surface. Most dives averaged 20-21 so I have not really dived in warm water yet!

Well a few had a few and it wasn't Cocoa:drunks:

People got drunk?? I missed that... :rofl3:

Anyway, I am about to head off to the movies with Dan so might not be around much longer. Wish I was back in Fish Rock :depressed:

Ok how interesting can a rock be? Their must be more to it. Maybe they're having fun and doing fun things like drinking and dancing. Or they could even be dancing naked in the streets.
They cant be underwater all this time. Or perhaps they were swept up in the manatee liberation operation. oh no.:shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2::shocked2:

very interesting I can't take credit for the shots these were taken by Jon the owner operator of Fishrock Dive Centre.... a couple shots from inside the cave and then there were the sharks.... and more sharks.... and more....

 OMG Nooooooooooooooooo ... you actually "TOUCHED" the reef ... you had better get out your asbestos suit to prepare for flaming :D:D

 ;) Yes ... we all went into a cave without lines and none of us were cave certified ... please don't tell cavediver ;) :rofl3:  :mooner:

nobody got drunk but I did see some sharing...

here I find someone alive and she is heading off right away.... how do you like jon's shots?

I didn't see the pineapple fish... knew I should have done that extra dive:shakehead:

:rofl3:I touched the reef a number of times actually. One time quite forcefully when I got stuck in an updraft and travelled from 12 to 5m almost instantly! I had to latch onto it and crawl back down along the wall. It was me or the reef and I come first I have to say.

I have a pic of our DM killing sand molecules!!! :shocked2:

omg we could be in heaps of trouble... I'm afraid...I am very afraid:shakehead:

what about the thermoclines? does a goup pee in the ocean interfere with any balances :shocked2:

Oh no ... this thread is going to be such a flame war ... DM's killing sand molecules :rofl3:

not his fault ... he is very new at the DM thing and hasn't learned better... lets sign him up:blinking:

hmm .. If by standing on sand you kill sand molecules, what the heck are we doing to the water molecules, not to mention the air molecules trapped in our tanks :rofl3: :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
