I bought an Oceanic Shadow. Unbelievably comfortable compared to the CrystalVu i traded it for. I was So excited to have it. Then i jumped into the aquarium at Epcot and ran into the (thankfully fake) coral 5-6 times in ONE dive!!!

Holy crap is my field of view HUGE, i can see ~70º in front of me!! but i turn (just) my eyes left and see coral that looks about 5 ft away from me. Then i turn my head so that it's in the center of my view/mask and it's less than a foot away!!! Over and over i kept thinking i was far away from things, and then SLAMMING my head or fins into them.. I'm aboslutely horrified. I'm a very alert/aware diver and never had a collision problem before this!!

I'm sure it's because of the angle that i'm looking trhough the glass. and I'm guessing that all low volume masks do this, but if they don't, and it's just mine, then i REALLY need to go get a refund ASAP (i got it 5 months ago, and it was after trading for another one that i had had for 6 months hehe, i dont think theyd be happy if i asked for another trade even though i paid more for this one)

I did a (quick) search in the forums and oddly couldnt seem to find any accounts of this problem.
Has anybody else experienced this awful problem with high vis masks?
