Hey everyone, my name is Graham and I've recently started diving. Got certified in 2000 but had a 10-year surface interval. This summer my wife and I went to Cancun and did some diving and fell in love with it. With great diving right in our Los Angeles backyard we decided to start hitting the local spots.
I'm taking my Advanced training this weekend and am learning the diving ropes. I've found Scubaboard very helpful so far with a broad amount of conflicting information, which is very useful.
Back in the real world, I'm a freelance cinematographer in the film industry. Maybe I can find a way to write off all this diving from my taxes if I claim I'm training to shoot underwater? Have to talk with my accountant...
Thanks in advance for all the advice!
