Hi i got certified at the beginning of summer and joined then but never really posted anything. I haven't gotten out diving yet. I'd love to get out diving with anyone in SE Wisconsin. Thanks.

Hey WI Diver! I am not in S.E. Wisc. but in Minnesota. So, similar conditions. Now that the temps have dropped I haven't gone diving in Minn. except for my checkout dives in early Sept. I did take a trip to the Bahamas a few weeks ago and did six dives down there, which was awesome. You could see if there are any trips you could take this winter to go diving. We planned our Bahamas trip during the offseason so prices were cheap.

Anyway, I am looking to buy a 7mm farmer john wetsuit so I can go diving as soon as the lakes come up to temp in the spring! Can't wait!

Keep in touch!

A heck forget that get a dry suit and good thermals and dive all year . I have never regretted getting a dry suite . In the summer I dive wet . except when we dive a deep dive that takes us in to the colder temps . cold months come around back to the dry suit . dive at least 1 weekend a month here localy

WI Diver and I would need to pick up an ice auger along with the dry suit to dive all year!

I definitely want to dive colder some day! Will for sure be getting a dry suit in the future but just gotta do this one step at a time. ;)
