Regarding ways of communication, I'm kind of stone aged because I'm only using e-mail. Well, actually I once sent a text message with my mobile!

Maybe I'll learn to chat and PM in this forum. ;)

Hi baitedstorm,
Well, I have the privilege to come to Ft. Lauderdale for a conference every year, and of course I'll dive while I'm there. Where is Conch divers located?

Some etiquette/administrative questions:
Do you use your real name or your user name on the board, example: Which is most appropriate in the greeting or title line, Vicky or baitedstorm?
What is the difference between Quick reply and "regular" reply?

Cheers to you too,
Stefan

Yeah, cornoil divers would be a great name :-)
You don't have to worry about dry land, located in Korea as you are.

See you on the board,
Stefan

In case she doesn't see this...

Conch divers is the name of SB's Florida club, down toward the bottom of the forum list. :bogey: They're a busy bunch, so be sure to post your visit in advance, or see what they're doing already.

I've always wondered about her user name? I think she'll answer to either. I kept mine simple enough, but I get called Dan and Dandy a lot. :nope:

If you'll just move your mouse over the Reply button inside the box, you'll see a sign advising that it's going to quote that message with your response. I started with that here, then used additional tricks to split it up. The Quick Reply lets you post without additional options, whereas the Reply button outside the box allow you to post with additional options. You can start with Quick Reply, then go to Advanced, and be in full Reply.

You'll get the hang of it. :usa_2: Let me know if you need spell check. I have to have it!!

Welcome to the US and the board. I'm sure you'll find a relatively clear water quarry near you. Congratulations to your family on their recent certifications.

(in Hollywood) where the old gents are bragging about their tough childhood. "A handful of gravel for breakfast", "clean up the lake before breakfast". I say - as long as you can get immersed in water, cold and murky or not, you can be lucky!

Dive safely,
Stefan (or "Steven" for you guys)

Aye, lad. It just so 'appens that ah'd be from t' North of England. 'owever, ah'd be not from Yorkshiyer as they be and did not 'ave to lick road clean wit' tongue or get up 'alf an 'our before ah went t' bed!! ;) Classic sketch!!! If you can find a duck in Nebraska, you can find a place to dive!!

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or respond to in this forum.
