Good point, Carrie! I have longish hair too, and for snorkeling I took to wearing a (thin stretchy rubber) swimming cap just to keep my hair from going all over and getting hooked on the mask strap adjustors and etc. (the hair seemed to find plenty of etc. to get caught on). Also, the mask strap kind of gripped the swim cap, so that was nice.

I did end up ordering a hood - just placed the order tonight
