We're booking a trip right now - should be diving the park March 17 - Bill - PM me if you want to hook up for a dive or a drink. Might make it the weekend before for part or all of Wrinkles.

My final it gets mightly lonely in paradise during the middle of winter... even if the water is still unseasonably warm.
Can't you still pick up a few hood rats at the "World Famous Marlin Club"?:l:
You've got it made! What happens on the Island stays on the Island.:ssst:

Does the water go all the way around that place?:eyebrow:

The Hood Rats, man. Focus on the Hood Rats!!!

P.S.: The Prisoner was one of my favorite shows as a yungin! The other was Secret Agent(AKA Danger Man.) ;)

gasp...I bet his LA wife couldn't take it there!

wow...they are GONE? ..maybe I will come back. I love Catalina in the winter. go shoot some pool with the urchin divers Billy.

hahaha we could start a soap opera about that place.

Urchin divers are gone, too.

You should come back and do some diving with us... maybe when JB gets back.

I'm amazed there haven't been a few (soap operas) created already!

Well, those of you coming out, get in touch. I'm usually out on the King Neptune, but have been diving the park more this weekend.

There actually are visitors who have asked if there is water all around the island, and whether you can swim underneath the island.

Funny, I don't go into the Marlin Club myself but Jean-Michel Cousteau and Dr. Richard Murphy used to love it when they came out for our board meetings.

That's the problem, Avalon is one big rumor mill during the winter months. Not much else to do but make up stories and pass them around. I wish I was "guilty" of half the stories I've heard about myself.. life would sure be a lot more fun.

However, it doesn't stay here. I spent some time with a woman I was interested in down in San Diego. She asked me if it was true that I was fired from the Conservancy for sexual harrassment. That was one of the rumors flying around here when they let me go because no one could figure a good rational reason for them to do that.

Oh, by the way... I don't sell drugs or teach dry suit diving either.

Dr. Bill:

Did I read something recently about the bison being evicted off the island as a "non-native species"?
