ha ha...she will come when Sharon Stowe and Bart Glass make it a country.

I think Dr. Bill refers to the rest of us as "the big island".

Correctimundo... the "Big Island" I refer to stretches from San Diego to NYC; Miami to Seattle. Oh, ya, it also includes Canada and Mexico!

scottfiji:
Dr Bill, you are sounding lonely... maybe a trip over to the mainland will help you out? you can see a lot in 5-10ft vis! :)

Yep, probably. Haven't been over in 2-3 months. Penny have a lovely lady diver friend she can "fix me up" with. Heck, I'd suffer through 5-10 ft vis for the right neoprene-clad lady!

annasea:
What are the temps like in the 60 - 80 ft range?

Afraid I don't know, Anna... I never dive there (until you return), I just pass through. I've heard 57-59 (that's Fahrenheit for your Centigrade mind).

Those wild pigs

that little grocery store

that hospital

are you sure?

oh...and those elections!

Bill...you could get a chopper and be at Fashion Island in Newport Beach in 15 minutes....

... ha ha...she will come when Sharon Stowe and Bart Glass make it a country.

Now, Catherine... I told you I got rid of almost all the pigs (and all the goats) when I was V.P. of the Conservancy. Of course there are dozens of mule deer traipsing around in your old stomping grounds at Hamilton Cove these days.

Elections? Are you referring to the fact that our "new" mayor is none other than Bob Kennedy, co-owner of SCUBA Luv. Yes, we have a diver in the white house (no, not that one... the one here).

And what, pray tell, would I do at Fashion Island. Why, I don't remember seeing a dive shop there.

Hmmm, I'm not even sure if Sharon and Bart are still here... just checked, they are not listed in our 21-page phone directory.

wall2wallanimals:
I swear!!!

I am dying to get in the water at ANY depth!!!

LOL

You will have plenty of buddies there at the end of the month.

K

Look forward to seeing your round "little" belly!

Yep, I must be bored... how else would I have time to boost my post count with such inconsequential fluff (no reference to you, K).

Ah, yes, you are correct. He in fact does.

Still no matter, wish I was there. I will be in CR in just a few days though :)

My final word (for at least another 15 minutes)... for those of you who don't live on an island (I know Catherine understands), it gets mightly lonely in paradise during the middle of winter... even if the water is still unseasonably warm.

gasp...I bet his LA wife couldn't take it there!

wow...they are GONE? ..maybe I will come back. I love Catalina in the winter. go shoot some pool with the urchin divers Billy.

hahaha we could start a soap opera about that place.

Hello Dr. Bill, I'm Robert. I figured I would introduce myself now. On March 24/25 I will be there doing my OW dives, then staying around for a few more days....few more dives. Once I get the OW I am sure I will be there very often, if fact you may not be able to get rid of me.
