Here we've been getting 40-80 ft vis the past week while you "Big Islanders" (those that live on the mainland) muddle through 5-10 ft (if you're lucky). Water temps down to 200 ft are 3-6 degrees higher than they were at the same sites and depths last year. Yet almost no one is signing up to go out on our dive boats.
Hey, we're not Fourth World here. We DO have big screen televisions. You CAN watch the BEARS beat the "little horsies" Sunday after getting in a few dives at Casino Point in the warm (80 degree) weather being forecast.
Come on out... don't just sit there in front of the tube with beer and chips. You won't be able to fit into your wetsuits next week if you do that!
